Soldiers of Humanity

Once an army of soldiers found themselves seeking shelter at Gasan’s temple during a training practice.

Gasan instructed the cook to prepare the meals as usual.

The soldiers were angered by the very plain and simple foods. They were used to preferential treatment from the locals.

“Hey, who do you think we are? We give our own lives to protect you and our country. We should be treated accordingly.”

Gasan sternly retorted, “Who do you think we are? We are soldiers of humanity and all sentient beings!”
